MY PECULIAR EXPERIENCE WITH YAHOO BOYS AT EMEKA OFFOR PLAZA_ONITSHA.

I can still recall it like it happened yesterday. It was on that faithful sunny friday afternoon when the blaring sun was threatening to burn everything that emits carbon four oxide. I hastily sprang-off from the couch in the parlour when my phone rang, briskly walked into our visitors' room where I had neatly arranged all my ironed clothes in my newly acquired Italian Samsonite Brown Leather Bag ready to head the villag. I picked up my casual navy blue coloured jeans, white singlet with my red t-shirt. Wore them and dart out of the house towards the street that connects upper Iweka stood awaiting Okada man to cruise me down to EMEKA OFFOR PLAZA.  Few years back, after my stay with one of my cousin brother at Fegge, I went to Emeka Offor's plaza to buy one Chinese phone that was in vogue then. Though in Anambra will understand better. When I stepped-in to the plaza, some phone retailers at the foot of the plaza were beckoning on me to buy from them while some other...

WHAT RICH PEOPLE KNOW AND DESPERATELY WANT TO KEEP SECRET.

Over the past few years, I have had the luck to be exposed to a great businessman and self-development specialists. Through my years as the Managing Emmadav Global Link Limited, a major retail-based store located in the heart of Garki Abuja, I have discovered timeless idea that have added enormously to my business and my personal life. As part of my work, I have studied and read tones of career books, columns, newsletters, articles etc on business success, career progression  and meet many successful entrepreneurs and I have had the chance to learn from them firsthand: all the while making notes, collecting ideas, and keeping them in a secret file.  Because of these opportunities, I'm now able to bring together in summary the best of these ideas. I have brought them together in a new way, succinct, hard hitting, to the point that you can use to make your own business, and your life, as success as you wish. It's not just reading and meeting great minds that make thes...

My Love Story: I am Ugly With Swag: This Is How I Own My Flaws and Rule My World Part 3.

Being 'Rich' is one thing, being smart is another. I love that I can sense things as they are. I love that I can detect next moves and possibly proffer counter moves for them. It's difficult to survive in a competitive world as ours without some advantage. Everyone wants to be the 'alpha' male, everyone is getting educated to get a good job, everyone is striving hard to outdo the other. It's all about sharpening the small skills you've got and use it to your own advantage, else you will loose out. Staying on top of your game is the key; the key to everything. When Bekky called that faithful day, I knew I was in charge; I was on top of the game already. She inquired about how I was doing and why I had not called her of late. Like she was just noticing it! I flowed with the conversation. I allowed her to sound jovial like she hadn't been dissing me all along. I knew what she wanted. She has just come to the realization that I may have some cash flowing ...

My Love Story:I am Ugly With Swag: This Is How I Own My Flaws and Rule My World Part 2.

After long minutes of fruitless endeavor to engage her in meaningful conversation, I took my leave. She saw me off, just to the door and returned to the bed with her phone. So much for being persistent. I left her room, cursing under my breathe. I got to the gate, started walking down the road. That was when I saw Nekky returning from where she went to buy something. I smiled at myself as she approached me. She walked with style. It was then I took a closer look at her. She was average in height, had full bosoms and you can almost see the nipples from her tight fitting silk top. Her chocolate color glowed under the evening sun. She smiled upon seeing me from the distance. She stopped and we talked. I informed her I really enjoyed the few minutes we spoke and I would love to see her again. She said something about Sissy and I told her its ok. "Sissy is just a friend, I know she wouldn't mind." I assured her. Seems she was of a kind and simple heart, or maybe she doesn...

My Love Story:I am Ugly With Swag: This Is How I Own My Flaws and Rule My World Part 1...

It's so easy to be attracted to the female folk when you have desirable features. Ask an average girl her dream guy, you will hear answers like; tall, fair, masculine, rich, God fearing, descent, funny etc. Of all the features listed above, I've got none; ok, just a bit of one, 'RICH'. I could be defined with one word, 'ugly'. Yea, I'm as ugly as it could get. I was taught the history of creation from the bible and I could only come to a conclusion; God created me on a friday evening, close to the sabbath. He must have been tired and worn out from six days of hard work, so he picked the least desirable features and bestowed them on me.  Maybe he had used all the femurs and humors available, so he had to make do with the stout ones remaining on a friday evening, making me short, dark skinned, big bulging eyes, tiny neck and dry lips. Maybe the skull bones where excessive in abundance and he had to pack the remaining ones to my head, giving me that extra head,...

MY TWIN BROTHER_A short story written by Mbagwu Amarachi Chilaka.

I lie in my bed, away from earth, walking the streets of the world beyond when my brother's screams penetrated into my world and brought me back into the earth. Screams! Blood curdling screams! It has continued since the month before, the month in which I mistakenly broke the enlarged picture we both took as kids that was placed atop our black and white television, while I was dusting the TV. I knee he was crying for someone. I knew he was crying for me, maybe for the picture. Countless times, I had tried to get him to stop screaming but all my efforts proved futile. Like I hadn't even pit a pinch of effort. Seven nights before, I had bought him flowers like his girlfriend, Naomi used to buy him. Flowers with scents as the strawberry scented perfumes he used to wear, hoping the scents would calm him. The night before, I had also gone to buy him half a dozen of the apple fruit like Naomi used to buy him. My brother loved apples and wouldn't go a day without eating th...
